Evaluation Research
For the past 30 years Dr. Renner has worked with community groups to help them record information about their program and accomplishments which:
Satisfies the accountability requirements of funders
Allows the agency to ensure quality of service
Provides the capacity for advocacy roles to influence public policy
His Evaluation Research Strategy is based on an "Action-Research" model.
Action-Research is the philosophy of knowledge and science which provides the foundation of "community psychology."
Community Psychology applies social science knowledge and methods to address social problems in a way which serves client needs and promotes fundamental social change.
In the area of evaluation research, Dr. Renner provides consultation to institutions, organizations and community groups on how to create an evaluation capacity, and professional development workshops on evaluation strategies and methods. He can also provide an evaluation service by acting as a program evaluator.
